Testimonials

On 7/15/2026 Samantha Bade had this to say:
Losing my 13-year-old Shih Tzu, Georgie, was one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through. After making the heartbreaking decision to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge, I was completely devastated. At first, I planned to have him cremated through my veterinarian's office, but the experience felt more like a transaction than a meaningful way to honor such a special member of my family. My boyfriend surprised me by contacting Schultz Cremation Center & Pet Crematory and arranging for Georgie to have a private cremation instead. I am so grateful he did. From the very beginning, Schultz treated Georgie with the dignity, compassion, and love he deserved. When I returned to pick up his ashes, I was overwhelmed by the care and thoughtfulness they had put into every detail. They included a beautiful clay paw print with his name and a small rhinestone heart, a lock of his fur carefully placed inside a leather paw print keychain engraved with his name, a precious nose print, and his ashes in the urn I had chosen. Every keepsake was beautifully presented, and it was clear that this wasn't just a service—it was a heartfelt tribute to my beloved boy. I truly cannot express how much comfort their kindness brought me during such a painful time. They helped turn one of the worst days of my life into a beautiful farewell that honored Georgie's life and the unconditional love he gave me for 13 wonderful years. If you ever have to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to a beloved pet—or even a human loved one—I wholeheartedly recommend Schultz Cremation Center & Pet Crematory. They go above and beyond to provide compassionate, respectful care, and I will always be grateful for everything they did for Georgie and for me. Thank you, Schultz, for giving my sweet boy the beautiful goodbye he deserved. ❤️🐾🌈

On 6/11/2026 Vickie Scoma had this to say:
I recently lost my Golden Retriever to cancer and brought her to SchultzCremation Center. I wanted to be present during her cremation as part of my grieving process and to help bring a sense of formal closure. Jason, Lynn, and everyone at Schultz Cremation Center went above and beyond to ensure that all of my wishes were honored. They were kind, compassionate, and treated my sweet girl with the utmost dignity and respect. The cremation package included a beautiful carved wooden box for her ashes, fur clippings carefully preserved in a leather paw-print keepsake, and a clay paw print that was beautifully detailed. Every aspect was handled with such care and thoughtfulness. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. During one of the most difficult times in a pet owner’s life, being surrounded by people who show genuine warmth and compassion—and who treat your beloved pet with such kindness and dignity—provides a sense of comfort, closure, and peace that is truly priceless. Thank you to everyone at Schultz Cremation Center for helping me honor my best friend and for making a heartbreaking experience just a little bit easier to bear. On 6/9/2026 Serenity Barickman (Siren, our Pomeranian Schipperke) had this to say:
Jason and Lynn took amazing care of us during one of the hardest moments of our life. Our beloved first family pet Siren was sick on Thursday, and passed by Sunday. After refusal of care, car trouble, and just the sheer audacity of some people... Lynn and Jason were the first to be kind and compassionate to us from the first phone call, to bringing her in. They talked us through the process, and even let her keep the blankets she slept on our bed with as a puppy. Because of our circumstances, they helped us get our girl home and we are forever thankful. Thank you both so much for your compassion and kindness through this whole process. We are from Spring Valley and they were absolutely amazing. Testimonial written by Serenity Barickman (Siren, our Pomeranian Schipperke) on this site.

On 4/29/2026 Mary had this to say:
Everyone here at Schultz Pet Cremation Center has been so caring and compassionate from the first phone call to when we picked up Junie's remains. Lynn explained everything which made it easier also. When it was time for Junie to be picked up at the house, the team was very responsive and handled her so gentle it made us feel better knowing she was in good hands and gave us peace of mind. The turnaround time to get her remains back was quick and given to us in a wooden box, paw print and a package with clips of her fur. We are so thankful that Schultz Pet Cremation is offered in our area and we recommend them to anyone that will need this type of service. Testimonial written by Mary on this site.

What is direct cremation?
Direct cremation is a simple cremation option without a formal viewing or funeral service beforehand. After the necessary arrangements are made, cremation takes place, allowing families to memorialize their loved one privately or at a later date.
Is a service or visitation required with direct cremation?
No. Direct cremation does not include a visitation or ceremony, though families may choose to hold a memorial gathering at a time and location of their choosing.
What types of pet cremation do you offer?
We offer compassionate pet cremation services designed to honor your pet with dignity and care. Our team can explain available options to help you choose what feels right for your family.
Are urns available through Schultz Cremation Center?
Yes. We offer a selection of quality urns for families to choose from. Our staff can help you select an urn that reflects your preferences and honors your loved one appropriately.
Can I arrange cremation services in advance?

Why should I choose Schultz Cremation Center?
Schultz Cremation Center has decades of experience, offers both human and pet cremation services, and is dedicated to providing professional, dignified, and personalized care. Families trust us because we treat every loved one as if they were our own.
What happens if I call after 6:00 PM?
If you call after 6:00 PM, you will reach our automatic voicemail. Please leave your name, phone number, and a brief message, and a member of our team will return your call as soon as possible. We understand that these situations can be difficult, and we are here to help. Please note that services provided outside of regular business hours may include additional fees.
What is included in your direct cremation services?
Our direct cremation service starting at $1,595 includes transportation and removal of your loved one, the required cremation permit, a cremation container, the cremation itself, and assistance with completing the necessary paperwork.

For families who would like additional support, we also offer a service for $2,395 that includes everything above, along with personalized guidance throughout the process and an online obituary on our website where family and friends can share memories and condolences.

If you're unsure which option is best for your family, we're always available to answer questions and help you choose the level of service that meets your needs.
When will my pet's cremated remains be returned?
In most cases, your pet's cremated remains will be ready for return within 2–7 business days. Unlike many facilities, your pet will never be frozen or held for an extended period while waiting for cremation, unless you have selected a communal cremation option. We treat every pet with the dignity, care, and respect they deserve, and we make every effort to return them to their family as quickly as possible. If you have any questions about the status of your pet's cremation, please don't hesitate to contact us.
